One of the more popular daily deal applications–Living Social– quietly released an Android application into the market a few weeks ago, bringing daily half-off (or better) local deals right to your Android phone. If you’re not familiar with Living Social, it is basically the same concept as the Groupon application we told you about a few months ago, but has different daily deals, allowing you to expand your potential savings opportunities.
Every day, users of the Living Social application will be presented with a new deal in their metropolitan area. Should they decide they want the deal, they can purchase and redeem right from the convenience of their Android device. Users can easily log in to Living Social with either a Facebook or free Living Social account.
Living Social provides tabbed information on the deals, including the details of the deal and all the fine print such as expiration dates and exclustions. Purchase a deal and need directions? Living Social has you covered, simply click on the map and directions tab to use Google Maps to get you to the location of your deal.
So if you love saving money (and really, who doesn’t?) head on over to the Android Market and give the free Living Social app a try.
